I just finished re-reading the fountainhead about two weeks ago.

I think Atlas Shrugged was much better

yeah, I liked Atlas better than fountainhead. Not surprising, since she did fountainhead first.

Was just wondering because I feel like I've been surrounded by looters lately, and wondering if anybody has felt the same.

Its been on the list of books that I know I should read but have never gotten the chance (read: I've never gotten off my lazy arse to actually pick it up)

What kind of book is it? I prefer non fiction or biography. If I'm gonna read a long book I want to learn something.

You will indeed learn something. It is a philosophical idea written in terms of a novel. One of the most meaningfull books I have ever read

Oh, trust me, you'll learn something. You probably won't be able to put it down.

I highly recommend it to everyone!

I agree. It was the type of book that challenged some of my basic ideas of what I wanted to do and how I wanted to get there.

genres other than Bio and non-fiction can indeed teach us...

Brave New World
Wuthering Heights
A clockwork Orange
1984
The House of Seven Gables
Henry V
A color purple

etc. etc. etc.

Read it, I doubt you'll be disappointed.

The thing about Biography that I've never quite gotten around... it's so heavily based on the POV of the author.

No. sadly I have not had the time (or even the book yet) but a better question is what possibly made you bring this all the way back up? You keeping up on all old posts? If I read it am I going to be brainwashed and be one of your followers or something?
