Someone please school me on this..........how does this setup not have terrible bump steer? Those angles aren't even close. My trac bar and drag link are not that far off and I have terrible bump steer.

Nice looking TJ tho'....very nice looking.

I have absolutely no bump steer. It steers better then stock. No wondering on the highway . . . perfect.

Maybe it has something to do with the FullTraction brace on the axle

How are those rear quarters? I destroyed mine when the clearance was that close. Maybe with the swing of my shackle on the YJ the axle swung back more..

Either way it looks cool!

from bolt to bolt on the track bar is close to parallel with the drag link if you draw a line from the two mounting points. Its the bends in the track bar that is throwing you off. it looks fine

The bump stops look as if it won't destroy them but I guess we'll see

Sure do but I think you just like to mess with me with your post I'm quoting and the other one with the truck 4wd conversion.

The angles would be perfectly matched if the steering on the bottom and normal. It's on the top now and out of the way. I don't know why it doesn't have bump steer. I was actually concerned when I first saw it because of the track bar and drag link not lining up at all but that all went away when I drove it.

I drives GREAT!!!

edit: I'll let you take it for a spin if you'd like

Your letting bends and stuff trick your eyes... your only concerned with the centerline of where the drag link and trac bar attach.

Going over the knuckle is a lot of work with our steering system because there are no bends in the rods or the TRE's to clear the coil buckets. It not only gets the steering up out of the way, but it makes a great drag link angle, and it drives better than stock.

Do you have a picture of the front of your Jeep? Maybe I can give you some ideas on helping the angles? I have seen some seemingly pretty bad ones with little bump steer though...

The stops are setup pretty well right from FT. With both sides compressed you have about a fingers width between the tires and fenders when on the stops... when articulating it may just touch it.

Those tires measure 34.5", with any other 35" MT it would never touch in the rear.

If I get a little metal bending then it's time to add some new stuff
