White is pimp, beadlocks are gonna be pretty cool. Where did you get the weld on kit from? I've seen them on ebay before.

very very slowly, I'm broke and between school and work that is 62 hours of work, 6 hours of driving 50 hours of sleep, 7 hours of eating and getting ready..... So I have 43 hours a week to get my school work done in and do the rest of my stuff.... O i can't wait to be done with school.

I'll start soon i hope. I haven't really touched the Jeep since school started. I haven't finished all of my beadlocks yet. Still need to grind one down and paint 3 rims

Finally back to doing some work on this, tax return showed up!

Cut another hole in it tonight.

Moving the gas tank up and then boxing it back in so its not inside the rig.

Plenty of clearance now

It will still be able to be dropped down plus i'll make a service door for the pump also.

Its sitting on 6" coils and 1.5" spacers up front and 6" leafs and 6" shackles in the rear.

Both springs are very well broken in. I'm closer to 6" of overall lift i think. I'll get some final specs on it over stock once it is finished.

Well my wheel spacers arrived tonight. Didn't work on the jeep but i had to mount the spacers so i could see it's final stance. Its wicked!

Axles measure 64" wide in the rear and 64.5" up front WMS-WMS

Shock position worked out very well. Will have to get some bump stops put in.

Everyone says XJ's need some stiffening, i think it just adds a little flex. Opened the rear hatch while testing the flex.
Regular gap

Cracked open

Well slowly getting more stuff down, tinkering with this and that as i go. i can't seem to stay focused on just one part. Brakes are nearly done. Plumbed everything but broke one of the bleed screws, silly 25 year old calipers. Started to groove and re-groove my tires.

Just re-grooved the rear to get some more life, took out all the extra rubber.

Now for what many of you have been waiting for.... the rear fenders. I started to play around with them a bit and i think this is how they are going to look

I finished the steering up tonight. Let me tell you separating 30 year old rusty steering arms from their knuckles suck.
$100 for a high steer arm is worth the money.... took me forever to make mine.

The arm is made from 2"x1.25" steel i had laying around. Cut it with the torch and the went to town with the drill press. I used 3/4" rod ends with high misalignment spacers and then some 1" x .120" tube sleeved with 1.25" x .120 for some beef. 5/8" grade 8 hardware. I also ditched my drop pitman arm for a stock yj one.

The rear drive shaft is getting pretty long, I'm going to need to do the doubler with a flipped D300 to gain some clearance back. The rear drive shaft was made out of some 2" DOM, a broken front XJ shaft (slip yoke was frozen) and the slip yoke from a front IFS Toyota shaft.

After all of this i went for a drive! Everything was working great then i started to overheat so i had to end my joyride. I never cleaned the radiator out from last run in the tank trap :fryingpan: I also noticed that i have a pin hole fuel leak from the sending unit. I must have bumped it during all the fitting

All is good though the little drive is all i needed to get motivated again.
