This is what the final control arm ended up being

A couple fender shots since they seem to be popular

And I finally got around to mounting my winch on my bumper

Still keeps a really nice approach angle since i recessed it into the grill. I will be trimming that up tomorrow or make my own, we'll see

Also check out where i will be mounting the winch's box, i'll seal it up good first.

The inside of the uni rail and floor pan has been braced with some angle andits bolted into the stock location then welded in

oh, ok the angle is welded to the side of the rail, on top of the mount, and the mount is welded to a piece of angle thats bolted on to where the stock crossmember was.. ok got it my brain and my eyes were havin trouble w/ that, so i had to ask did you build that tube crossmember too?

What did you do for a trans x-member. I would do a subframe, and a trans x-member with more than just the stock 4 attachment points.

Well my upper mounts are now a permanent part of the frame, and bracing that is on the inside. The cross member bolts between the arms are so you can drop the tranny without removing the suspension, it also braces the arm mounting points laterally

Installed JCR's 1-ton over the knuckle steering tonight and relocated the track bar, should work well. Will get some pics up tomorrow

Yea, would like to see those pics. We were looking at the steering yesterday and couldn't see how it would clear the sway bar mount.

Well i finally have the whole thing streetable again. Finally put in a SYE, new gears in the front, solid cover to protect them, lock-rite and cleaned it up a bit.

The steering does have to be limited but its not much, so far i am happy with it. I do need to rebuild the flex joint on my trac bar though.
And i still need to remove and mount 2 of the tires back to the alloy rims

If you want some close ups of where and how it hits let me know

It does but i want to try a few things to get the rear to flex a bit more, its still a little stiff, also need to make sure i have enough shock travel out back. Front shocks stop the drop just as the coil is fully unloaded, might make new mounts to lower the shocks a bit and then add limit straps.

Well i yanked the axle.

Passenger LCA mount is a little bent out of shape, no idea why:hehe:

So i cut them off and will be making some brackets, or i may order some. I was also thinking of relocating the lower mounts a little higher and more behind the axle tube. I don't think i should have any problems doing this since i am running radius arms. This would also keep my wheel base right if i bend the arms for clearance. OPPINIONS PLEASE.

So untill i decide what to do there i started on the truss. Very simple. Pipe from spring bucket to bucket mount that arcs over the center section and has support brackets on a couple of th ediff bolts. Also went right through the passenger UCA mount.

I like the look better then most truss jobs, i'll be adding some ribs later i think

Does that diff cover come off very easily with those truss mounts on the bolts? I know in the past I've had issues with mine just getting hung up on the tie rod because the cover won't come forward enough to clear the gears. It could be the pictures but just an idea.
