Default 84 adn 85 rm125 interchangeabilt question

I have a guy that wants to trade me a 1984 rm125 that needs a magneto for my non-running truck. I have an 85 rm125 motor sitting in my garage, I was wondering if the engines, or at least magnetos will swap out.

Go to someplace with an online microfiche (like ronayres.com) and compare part numbers.

i'm going to guess they probably will. my 84 rm250 is the same as an 85 rm250, so the 125's might be the same way.
