Default Who can set up gears? Ford Kingpin 60

Can bring the jeep or just the axle. Have all the required parts for the install.

Closer to the east side of the state the better.

Depends how many times the gears have to come in and out. If we get it all good on the first shot probably an hour or two. But it all depends. My guess is it would be a few hours

Putting it on the lift would defiantly make it easy...then I could change out all the seals, and put it all together.

What weekend works for you?

I went to a shop once, and my friend was quoted $600 for a pinion bearing replacement. Kind of scared to ever go to one of those places and see what it costs to set up gears.

That's just ridiculous
It's usually about 4-600 for a shop to do it with the axle still in the vehicle
I think one of the guys just got his jk regeared for like $900

Idk yet I'll let you know. And my time guess was for gears only assuming you already had the housing gutted etc lol

That's insane. I had my front Dana 30 done for $200 by John Pike. I provided parts tho. I beat that thing senseless and never had a gear failure

Was it out of the vehicle?

It might of been less than that
Might of been more like $800
But it's his daily and I'm not quite comfortable enough to doing it to do someone's daily driver haha
