Default Sept. - GL4x4 Myspace ROTM - WINNER: C.K.

Since I don't remember Great Lakes 4x4 ever having a rig of the month. I decided it would be great use for www.myspace.com/greatlakes4x4.

There could be 3-4 pictures *MAX 1 poseur shot. Others have to be action/wheeling shots* and a small write up on the vehicle such as modifications.

I want to set it up so the first rig is available by the beginning of September. Submissions will be accepted through Sunday, August 26 and voting hopefully will take place between Monday, August 27 and Friday, August 31 with the rig being placed on Myspace that weekend and a bulletin posted when it is done.

Okay now on to the fun part. Post your submissions in this thread. Attach a few photos or link them from your photobucket accounts. Then post the specs of your rig. If you split it up nicely like this:

ELECTRICAL
  • Winch
  • Etc.
DRIVETRAIN
  • Atlas II
  • Etc.
ETC.

That would look awesome and might make it easier for people to read what you got. Thanks and good luck! I hope this works out well.

-Brad

I call it " Ultimate Beater "
1989 s-10
4.3
700R4
Bought it with the 4" lift and 34" TSL's

Mods for this are all Function over Form
Bobbed bed
Removed doors
Jaz Seats
RJS 4 point harness
Uniden? CB Radio
Welded Rear Diff
Swaped 3.42's for 3.73 ( changed when i swap axles from front breaking)
Removed Bumpers and made custom bumpers for tow points and clearance..
Just place an order for a Mr. Gasket universal Automatic Shifter to mount on the floor which will allow me much faster/accurate shifts from D - R
All in all with the modifications ive done ive gained over 20" of overhang clearance in the rear and about 6" up front..

I think that this is a great idea. You need to get a poll together.

This is a cool way to showcase some of the great GL4X4 members rigs.
