Default How do these compare in strength ....

Chevy Corporate ten bolt, most likely the 8.25" ring, to an early bronco Dana 44

and

Chevy 14 bolt, either the 9.5 or the 10.5, compared to a Ford 9" 28 spline?

I have no idea what the spline counts are on the others.

I'm thinking about swapping from the ford axles to the chevy. What do you think?

Chevy 10 bolt is basically identical to dana 44s, both are 8.5" ring gears, 1.31" 30 spline shafts generally.

A 10.5" GM 14 bolt is a monster. Every piece is stronger than that 9" in stock shape. The 9" can be built very strong, though. You might need different bearing ends out by the wheels, though.
