i miss my non-built 88 yota pickup, stock suspension, hacked the fenders to fit 33"s and dragged in around every tree I could find, then drove it home.

I pained over selling my CJ-5, but I can't say I regretted it. I did what I needed to do, to pay a huge divorce settlement.

selling a rig is nothing like giving up wheeling. The guy that started the Rubicon Owners forum for instance gave up full size wheeling in favor of a tow rig and a quad because where he lived was worse to get to legal wheeling then SE Michigan has it.

Face it, the amount of wheeling we do and what we do it in is independant to continuing to wheel at all.

I only regret selling 3 cars I had: my 78 Dodge Stepside pickup, my 97 Z28 30th aniversary, my 92 Chevy 1500. All the other 75 cars I don't remember

As I have the company vehicle anymore i have found it hard to justify even having my own vehicle, By the time i get home from work I have no time to work on the jeep to get it DD again. And daily driving constitutes weekends only, and for errands i have always used the focus. Last summer I can count on fingers and toes how many times I drove it, much less wheeled it. If i didnt have so much money, blood and sweat into it I would have sold it... Though i would miss it dearly

I miss my 97 XJ, but I'd like to think it's being put to good use and helping create a couple young wheelers. :D

Cube, are you thinking of selling your jeep?

If so, why. Seems like you have put alot into it. From the pics I have seen it looks pretty badass.

I miss my 90 XJ...lifted, swampers, and then did the 4.6 stroker. Sorta felt I had no where to go after all the building on it. So I sold it and got the YJ and started building it. Half the fun is building. I miss it because it was less of a pain to wheel in the mud, had AC and all that....plus it had more room to haul crap like hunting junk and dogs. I love the YJ but it's a different kind of love then when I had the XJ. Wife misses wheelin in the XJ but she would never drive it. She drives the YJ to the grocery store now in the summer. She loves the open top driving.

I say this now, but you never know. I do not see a time when i will ever sell my Jeep to any 1 other than a family member. Once i graduate if i feel like getting rid of my Jeep i might give/sell it to my father, but id rather build him something else.
