Default what 44 for a tj build?

I am looking for a dana 44 to replace the 30 in my tj. What would be best to start with? I want to end up with the 5 on 5 pattern so I can match a set of aftermarket axles on my 44 rear axle.

How much work do you want to do?

Easiest= 80-91 waggy axle converted to 5x5.5

Best= a 76-77 hp44 out of a F-150 narrowed to 80-91 waggy axle width or use rubicon 44 inners

For clarity, are you looking for a 5 on 5" (JK) or a 5 on 5.5" (CJ) pattern?
