Default Ranger Bucket to Bench conversion

has anybody put a bench seat in a ranger that has buckets? I'm lookin to do it soon because I have a BABY!! on the way and want the option to pack us in there
Basically I was just wondering if they use the same holes...if not, no biggie.
Also if your reading this and wanna trade your bench for power adjustable grey buckets, I've got a thread up in the wanted section. Thanks for looking

if you were going from the bench to buckets I could help you out, but I don't know if the buckets share the same tracks as the 60/40 benches. So the wanted post says it's a '93 eh? if you check around in a junkyard (or anyone on here) 93-97 model years should bolt to the floor pan. probably even later years might even fit, my friends 2005 has the exact same dashboard as my '97, and that was used even earlier than that, they tended not to change a whole lot in those trucks. It's amazing what will interchange so I'm sure there'll be something.

another edit, get the benches from the same style cab. Reglar cab tracks won't fit in a extended cab, different floor pans. The tracks may very well bolt up to other benches, but I have more confidence it'll work in just switching it out from the floor up.

if they were manual I'd be interested, but I can't stand that powerd crap, sorry.

well the power lumbar and side bolsters are power.....no anything else. i never even use those. they operate on what sounds like an air pump and bladder system. i'm pretty sure one of them leaks. I'm a tech at Grand Traverse Mazda and we are part of Grand Traverse Auto, so I'm sure I'll be able to get a look at a newer bench out of a truck soon. thanks for the quick response.

i was kinda wondering about throwing a newer bench in there....hmmm maybe I'll have to get my hands on one.

BTW Check out the new carpet substitute I rolled on yesterday. It'l probobly deal with the mud/snow/dirt/sand better :)

should bolt right up. I know when you switch from bench to buckets you need to drill new inner bolt holes because they aren't there.
