I have it right now... My eye is real red. If you look under your eyelid next to your eye, it look kinda raw.. Your eye maybe watery. You can have crusty eyes in the morning... The sooner you get to the doctor the better!! It'll take about ten days to clear up with meds... Good luck!

for real

I haven't decided if my eye is just irritated from something or if I have pink eye. I hope it's not pink eye.

I have had it a few times and I hate it. But there are some prescription eye drops that get rid of it in a few days of use (specifically 1-2 days of use).

Starts out with crusty eyes. Then you will always feel like something is in your eye. That is an accumulation of bacteria on your eye. Your eye will constantly water. From then on every day you awaken your eye will be sealed shut with a crusty glue. Using an extremely hot wash cloth over it will open it up and can be used to soothe it. It is extremely contagious and if you rub your eyes you are sure to spread it to the other eye.

Go to the doc. They will do an eye swab and culture. Basically they roll your eyelid up in a tiny dowel and jab you with a cotton swab. It sucks (I have overly sensitive eyes). The sooner you get those prescription drops the sooner you will feel better.

Its pretty damn common..

Be courteous, and wash your hands alot, and don't touch alot of things..

Its really easy to spread..

It jacks up your eyes for alittle while.. I got it in cancun once

I really don't think it's pink eye. But if it's still acting up tomorrow, I'll go to Walgreens and pick up an eye wash thingy for it.

it sucks, I've had it in both eyes before. Hopefully it isn't pink eye, but if you think it is, sleep with a wet rag next to your bed it'll help when you wake up!!

If you really don't think you have it, what's the point of a thread about it? Just kiddin' Shift....don't hurt me.

If it is you will know in the AM. My kids got it from school a couple of times, if someone has a cold and coughs in your face can cause this or rubbing your eye after coughing in your hand can also. But if it is go to the doc. you will need the drops and he may wright you a antibiotic also.

and I like mels
