Is it still considered a flop if you drive into it that way?

You guys have rules or guidelines?

was hitting the pawn stores the other day.best purchase I have made for my buggy so far. picked up a bose sounddock and a ipod for dirt cheap.this thing jams and I can take it anywhere.bought the cord so I can plug the ipod in and not have it on the dock.guess they make a chip for 12 bucks to make it Bluetooth also. see how long it will last.

No prior experience with that intake but from the website, most of them are sold with fuel rails but as long as your truck fuel rail fits over it and your throttle body fits up to it, you should be ok. It won't look pretty but it'll work. You'll have to see if your alternator hits the throttle body or not as well. Won't know until you put it on though. They make a couple different versions of that intake so you should probably find out exactly which one you have. The OEM car intakes had shorter bodied injectors(different injector pigtail in the wiring harness) and rail. You can use your taller truck injectors with the car rail but you'll have to get a hold of one to check fitment over your new intake. You can always buy bling fuel rails too if you want to go that route. Being a SD tune, you might have some lean conditions from the intake flowing better. You'll find out when it falls on it's face providing the knock sensors aren't disabled.

-Check fitment of truck rail/injectors over new intake
-Check and make sure the alternator bracket doesn't interfere with the throttle body on the new intake.
-Hope the new found air doesn't cause a bunch of knock with current tune, if you do, try 100 or 110 octane if you don't have 02 sensors (not positive if you're running a maf sensor or not)

your alternator shouldn't be a problem with the intake flipped backwards on your buggy
