no i had junkyard driveshafts in there.kinda hard to do full throttle assaults on that spot because 1 screw up and it's a long ways down.i beat it hard after that video.did a wall in the back corner that i would of never tried before.did full throttle assaults burning the tires off for 10 minutes before i finally made it..jimmy said he didn't feel like getting out to take video. doing a 231/ 205 doubler so i can put some 1410 joints in,called duffy yesterday from d&d machine for his kit.i will also have the gearing i need then.

i did the leafss 4 years ago to get some stretch out of it. worked good but broke my share of springs..i cut it in half because it was so smashed up it was not worth saving.i wanted coilovers so i needed to cut the frame for them to fit..so i went all the way.will have coilovers and new arms and heims in the front and get the doubler in and i will be happy for this year..will throw in a 5.3 next winter and that should be the end of the upgrades for this.

I like it Erin. Those kind of spots look so easy from the outside or on video but when you're driving it, it's a whole nother world.

Are you still running the 4:10 gears?

yes 4.10 and i am keeping them.with this doubler setup i should have all the gear i want and still have nice big ring and pinion.i have been looking high and low for the right t case setup without breaking the bank.my go to guy jimmy at extreme and me talked about every option on the ride home from the badlands..
231/ 205 is what we came up with..i only use the front of the 231 so no chain and the 205 has 32 spline outputs stock.so then i can also do the 1410 stuff like i want.the best part is it only cost $512.00 shipped to my door for the kit and i have all the t case parts..
i watch jimmy beat the crap out of his rigs and never break...his comment to me is get the big stuff and not worry..(1410) he has had the same u joints driveshafts and axles under 3 different rigs. so almost 10 years on the same driveline.and no issues..and he will pull up to something and just bash it, bounce it,roll it, and never lift!!! i want to do that!!!

yea real happy with it.i broke the front output on my tcase sat night.we made a new hillclimb on the blue trail.so i think i have broke everything you can break on a 231 now.i have to put it back in for this next weekend. after that it is getting the good stuff.

jimmy, cory and me did a pretty good hot lap around the park..(jimmy is going to be one to watch, he is flying)sure is night and day better.keep tuning on my rear coilovers for travel .then i can put some bump stops and limit straps on it this week.

so since i did this..i have 4 weeks to have a v8 in it and put my coilovers on the front.cutting the front frame off so i can have some more up travel and still be low.frame will go through the grill.might go full hydro while i am at it..so the parts list starts again..on to phase 5...
