Default RE Adjustable Track Bar question...

So I ordered and installed this track bar for the jeep:

RE1610 Track Bar TJ Front Extreme-Duty - Special design uses Super-Flex joint on one end for max articulation and durability. New design with double bend to clear Dana 44's. More length adjustability than other bars. Must be used with RE1611 bracket. For lifts between 4"-6".

I never ordered bracket RE1611. What is it for? I installed the track bar and to my knowledge I'm not having any problems with it...i haven't wheeled it yet though.

This is the RE1611 bracket

RE1611 Track Bar Drop Bracket TJ Front - Extra H.D. front track bar bracket for TJ Wrangler.

Anyone else running the similar set up? Did you buy the extra bracket?

Thanks

To mount the Super Flex joint to the frame end. I bolt goes threw the old track bar mount on the frame with a 5/8" bolt and two get drilled straight threw the frame. Without it the track bar is useless. So you couldn't have bought that track bar and have it mounted.

Here's the best pic I have of mine. The RE 1610 is a far better design IMO than the RE1600 peice of crap. I ripped the threads out of mine and the bolt on the frame never would stay thight. I have had no problems out of the 1610 and 1611 combo. Only down size is you might need to cut down the threaded end to allow for Kerry's 4.5" springs.

Disregard my retardedness...

I didn't know there was a design change on the front track bars.

Damn it Nyxis why did you get me the old piece of shit? :)

haha

Rocky thanks for the pic...I actually had a hard time seeing what I was supposed to see. I've never seen your jeep dirty before...although thats probably more because I never wheel.

That's cause I power wash all the junk off of it when I dun wheeling. Put WD-40 on the frame and what not helps keep the mud off and makes it look like new.
