Default Trailer suspension question.

Are there bushings at points 5? If so, are they replaceable?

Should these be slightly loose to allow equalization for both axles, or should they be pretty tight?

On most of the ones i've repaired, yes there are bushings. Yes they are replaceable. Slightly loose is acceptable, slightly.

i have replaced all bushings on a boat trailer before except #5....I do know that when I took the springs off, that center pivot was "loose", meaning it moved freely back and forth...never had an issue after putting it back together though.

The bushings seem fine where the springs meet the trailer, but the equalizer bar thing is loose as a goose on both sides. I guess I will buy some new bushings tomorrow, and torque them down like I would a shackle.

Thanks
