I am amazed at how much more property taxes are on a house 3 blocks from me. The neighborhood isn't that much better and the house isn't any bigger. Oh well. I will let them pay.

black family growing up in birmingham in the 80's? I bet it was tough.

Neighbors probably thought you guys were just the movers when your pops bought that house.

Or maybe they thought your dad was some linebacker for the lions

And of all these things you thought were safe and guaranteed to be there for your retirement. Besides the fact you proven to have no reading comprehension skills by assuming that I want someone else to pay for my medical, you like many others assume that a US social health care would be a carbon copy of Canada…such a pity. On another note why would I sell my Land Rover? I like that car. I am selling a Dodge Viper. Do you want to buy that?

i go to the doctor's office about three times a year, if you include visits to the dentist. i don't think those three visits warrant a 25 percent tax hike, which is the least we'll see if we go to a national health care system. granted i may not be paying for your doctor visits specifically but you bet your ass id be paying in a lot more than i would take out.

and as for the viper, no thanks i am going to save that money for a rainy day. or maybe i'll invest it into my retirement fund, so i can afford to pay for my expenses when i'm old.

oh and cc, i agree a hundred percent about flat taxes. why should anyone be taxed more than anyone else?

In reference to what you wrote above, this is no shit, I've heard politicians propose tax hikes for people "Luckier in the Lottery of Life".

WTF? I didn't wake up one day after buying a $1 ticket and suddenly find myself with a degree and a good job - I busted (and still continue to bust) my ass for what I have.

Flippin Idiots.

Well Michael Moore's fatass in in TC this week for his gay ass film festival....Last year there were people in a tizzy because he showed films that support his democratic horseshit.....
I avoid downtown like the plague this time of the year, with the cherry fest and then the hippy film fest, hell granholm is even in speaking in town today. TC is not a fun place to be if you are republican this time of the year

I think we need to put a Sticky on Mr. CC's Tax Bill

I remember being up there the first time he had that film fest.. I wasn't suprised at all as that is his crowd, and I wanted no part of that hippy bs.

I used to have a speech that he gave in germany on how americans are lazy and stupid.

so i was sitting at the mackinaw brewing co the other day, enjoying my 9'th frosty brew, when this way over sized, greasy, ugly m'f'er rolls around the corner with a small entourage apparently talking about how great he is. i throw up a bit in my mouth, set my frosty down, trying to recover from a horrendous episode unfolding before me, and my buddy says..." hey, look its MM!" then they proceeded to take pics to photo shop, and talk about his douchness. i chimed in my fair share of douchness factors. then we went back to checking out all the downtown hotties. judging people that we dont know, making fun of some dood in blue umbros, orange laces, fanny pack, and headband, some completely hammered indian that eventually passed out on the sidewalk next to the MBC, and a rollerblader rocking 1997-1999 era K2's making a large number of passes through downtown.

all in all, it would have been a good day, with the exception of MM's fatness.
