We might be interested. I'll touch base with you a little more about it on Saturday. Are you thinking trail riding and pitching camp along the way over the weekend or?

I would but I am going to try to help out GLFWDA with the GPS mapping of the M-Triangle by Caddilac if I'm gonna play that weekend.

Looking forward to it. XJ is currently sitting in the garage with the entire front suspension on the floor (except for pesky track bar bolt, nut came off easily, but bolt won't slide out through the bushing. Cutting it out tonite).

So the XJ will finally be lifted, so we are definitely looking forward to getting her out on the trail again as soon as we can. Knowing me I should have the lift done by Labor Day 2008! lol! No we should have it done by next week.

See everyone soon.

:tonka: So much for having the lift done by this week. The track bar has been a pain in the back side on both ends. Finally just cut it out, but now I can't get the ball stud out of the frame rail bracket.

Who all is planning on running for Labor Day weekend? I know I'll be in as long as I get the XJ done. Speaking of getting it done, I better get my butt back in the garage and get 'er done.

Good to hear. Will finally have the lift done this weekend. Under equipped garage and terrible mechanic (mine and me respectfully, lol). Every bolt that went through a bushing had a sleeve seized to it and I don't have a torch! Finally got the shackles out and new ones in. U-bolts and rear shocks and an alignment and it will be done. As if they are ever done.

I'm not sure yet. Have to touch base with mudrunner. Haven't seen him on in a couple weeks. Probably out on the road. As soon as I find out I'll post it here. I know we mentioned possibly using Haskel Lake as a base camp, but we hadn't set anything definite as far as I know. Then again, I've been flat on my back putting my new lift in the XJ. Looking forward to its maiden voyage off road.

Count me in.

Lift is done. Anybody have a set of used 15x8 steelies with a 3.75 to 4.25 back spacing they want to sell? I was told that these 33s would work with the factory rims, yeah maybe on the road, but boy are they tight to the leaf springs in back and at full lock the front is uncomfortably close to the sway bar link mounts.

What day are we setting up camp? Looking forward to the trip.
