i have a pair in my truck. locked rear, 488s, new warn hubs,complete.

no rear brakes. rebuilt last year......$1500....

These Are In A Truck I Bought ,seller Said Locked, I Mudded It Once, Its Locked.....front Is Disc N Work Good.

they wont give up untill you pull the cover and tell them whats in the back not say yes to a 3 part question...my guess with out breaks its on the cheap side and welded like most do to the rear of a bogger!

You're gonna have a pretty hard time selling it without telling anybody what's in it. I'm interested too, but I'm not about to pay that kinda money without knowing what's in it. Hell, I wouldn't buy em without seeing inside the covers!

I agree, with a detroit, the price sounds fair, but with a welded diff, I would not think so. How did you rebuild them or get them rebuilt without knowing what the differential is? I assume you bought them rebuilt?

I'm much more interested in the front than the rear, so if you're(Big Al) willing to split them up for the right price I'd be pretty interested. I'd still wanna see the inside of it and be able to get a decent look at the backlash, pattern, wear, etc.
