Default Help with tire choice.

Between the Mickey Thompson MTZ's or Pro Comp X-terrain's?

Both in 31's and both about the same price. I think that the MTZ's are $50 more because of shipping.

Need help with the choice. Don't think I can go wrong with either, but didn't know if anyone had experience with either.

Is this for a trail rig only, DD, or both?

Both, but mainly for hauling and trail.

I've heard bad things about the X-terrains, but they might be a little better on the street than the Mickey Thompson's. If it's more of a trail rig I'd go the the Mickey's.

i liked my x-terrains for double duty.. :/ .. were quiet and did pretty good on the trail..

and why did i get rid of them? well .. decided i didnt want a trail/dd so i started a new trail rig.. and its running 38" sx's .. but for trail/dd the x-terrains were nice..

Those MTZ are too new of tire to really give any advice on how they perform/wear/etc. I don't think there is really anyone with them. I did some searches around on websites with now luck. I was looking at them in a 35x12.50 as price is resonable, but I don't want to be the test mule for them, and I want a 37"
