I have the wiring books from `91 for c/k & r/v & P trucks so if you have a need for a specific item let me know and I will scan it in.

thanks. I needed to know what the 31 pin on the oil sender did... aparently nothing.

is GRA Gray?

So if I read that right, it the oil sender gets too low, it will open the fuel pump relay? hmmmm

nother question

The fuel pump oil sender is normally open.... So if I don't hook it up (leave the 2 wires cut and taped), the computer will think I have good oil pressure right? Why wouldn't they wire it the other way (need to be closed to have a good reading)

The oil sender is next to the dissy, which is for the fuel pump I guess. There is also another one right above the oil filter. Is that one for the dummy light?

the most stable oil presure is at the back by the distributor thats why most senders are there. the idiot light requires the presure to drop below 7 psi before it turns on the light, thats why its down by the filter.
the oil sender is normally open because if you loose presure(below 7 psi) the engine will die. and if you are cranking and it starts it will only run for 10 seconds on the relay timer till the oil sender takes over...so its very hard to run without oil.

and yes Gra is gray
