you said that we are causing global warming, which we are not because global warming does not exist. just like al gore inventing the internet, and the easter bunny, it's bullshit. (sorry to let anyone down about the easter bunny)
I didn't say global warming was real. I merely stated that its the right thing to do.

Anything I do such as recycle is for other reasons. I am doing nothing specifically because I'm even the slightest bit worried about global warming. It is a joke that people have these doomsday outlooks on it. There are things like the heat island effect that actually have merit, such that warming in places around large cities is taking place simply due to increased population expending more energy. But that does little to the majority of places not over populated.

i run biodiesel in my truck, use low energy lighting in my apartment, and fill my beer cans with water, so they sink to the bottom of the lake.

all in all i feel pretty good about my efforts to save the world.

Oddly enough, all of these actions also SAVE MONEY. It would be foolish not to conserve when given the opportunity.
x 1,000,000

+ i drive a fuel efficient wheeler and daily driver and i kayak instead of jetskiing. I would also like to get into sailling which also doesn't require fossil fuels.

p.s anybody want a jetski?? ;)

and when i graduate and get a decent job i'll be trading up for a volkswagen diesel which gets better mpg and uses bio diesel

one more thing, i almost never take a plastic bag when i shop, except for when i buy beer because it's required. I heard a good name for them today...urban tumbleweeds...disgusting.

I am not going to give up the comforts of the modern life like air conditioning. Additionally I believe that the third world counties like China pollute more than the U.S. and Europe do....
unlike the current administration who uses scare tactics to get us into a useless war... even if "liberals" or environmentalists or people who want a cleaner earth were using this as a scare tactic...what is the downside? or what is their "agenda" that these so called "scare tactics" are fulfilling? clean air and water?? i don't get it.

I'll have to move south.

Continue with the warming please, it makes owning a boat more practical, also allows me to contribute to the warming by towing to the lake more often emitting more gases as well as burning more fuel in the boat again helping out.

Thanks

Wait til towrigs that can actually produce towing power aren't allowed anymore... What about when the cost of goods skyrockets because we're not allowed to transport cross country with the current fleet of semis...

Slippery slopes are seldom a good thing. And that's exactly what this is turning into. A dangerous slippery slope.

i'm not saying that's what they are doing or that it is right...but please explain to me what their hidden agenda is? I already know why the upper echelon conservatives don't want to believe that global warming exists and why its caused...but what is the tree hugging hippie liberal agenda? why are they so against pollution, etc... hmm. think about it. i think its probably much less selfish.

what's more important, some cheap imported crap from wal-mart or being able to step outside without a radiation suit in 50 years?

$500 a month for groceries instead of $300 is plausible. How would a .003% rise in C02 levels result in the neccessity of radiation suits?

A rise in C02 will however, cause more plant life to thrive
