$75,000? You can get that by laying off one DNR bureaucrat when you factor in salary, benefits, vacation pay, 401K... now that's a budget-cutting plan!

But she did, a 4% pay cut. Now she can't afford tweezers to pull the mole hair.

My department takes care of the governors lawn, if it goes, what to do then. They already don't do much.

x2 I go over there a couple times a month to pick up lawn equipment to fix. It is an old house. I would have thought the governor would have a nicer place. There is a lot of land, but the house isn't great. The houses around it are sweet though. That whole subdivision is nice.

I don't see how this even saves money. It's not like they have to do much maintenance. Now, rather than have a guy drive by once a day to collect any camping fees and make sure theres paper in the out houses the same guy will have to drive by once a day to make sure no one snuck in and is camping for free.

i understand the point, but the last thing this state needs to do is cut schools' budgets more than they already have. how about we start a welfare camp, feeding and housing the needy, not paying them.

it's a bummer i stayed at high bridge camp in luce county last week. very nice, peaceful place to camp.

thats not really that much money that they are saving. It seems like they could save that amount of money in a lot of different ways with out closing anything.

Probably, but that wouldn't help get more support for a tax increase like closing things will.
