Anyone seen this type of set up? Seen this on Comanche site, and was wondering what you all thought of 'this guys' setup.

I hope that isn't ride height for the rear, those links are on a mighty large up angle.

1/4-elliptical flexes like crazy. A few friends have wheeled with them over the past few years.

Nah, they don't flex at all!
But if your real brave check out this 3/4 elliptical

And it is just starting to flex!

Looks like a nice set up, but not on my daily driver.

I wouldn't suggest the 3/4 to anyone, but with that setup they usually have it so it can be pinned in place and work like a regular shackle for streetdriving. Then when you get to the trails you pull the pins and instant flex. Never looked real safe to me. the 1/4 set up correctly can work real nice.

I second the 3/4 sucks comment. Tried it on my old yj, and also tried revolver shackles. Both unloaded at bad times.

Killer B ran 1/4 elliptic on his old CJ.

1/4 eliptical certainly can flex awesome and work well when set up properly. But if I was already going through the trouble of calculating link geometry, I can't imagine not just going with air shocks or better yet coilovers and be done with it.

3/4 eliptical most definitely brings the suck...
