D60 ujoints ?

Okay so as far as I can tell Grand Rapids only has one spicer dealer (weller) and they are stupid expensive and closed Satudays. I used to run a advanced auto brute force D44 joint and those were pretty stout. I stopped in and asked about brute force D60 joints a while back and the price was pretty reasonable. Went there today and they couldn't pull up the numbers and didn't show a brute force joint.

So what other stout (non $300 a piece) u-joints are out there and available on Saturdays?

NAPA shows a 'super strength' non greasable u-joint available if you have any stores locally.

I run the spicer forged & usually keep an extra or two on the shelf during plow season.

Only one Spicer dealer near me and expensive and closed saturdays.

Yes they are weaker (greasables)......I used to run the Napa super strength but wasn't very impressed with the D44 verisions.

Then buy two spares tadah and order them online. Only joint I would run in a 60 besides bling ones, especially with 35 spline stubs.

You didn't say you needed them today.

I don't think you can find cheap, strong, ujoints quickly anywhere. Ebay is the best place I've found.

I reused the old spicer from the shaft that I broke the stub on.....That joint is the orig to my 95 D60 and still moves freely and shows no wear.

Valley wanted $49 for a Spicer, Weller was $33. But I haven't bought any yet. But when I do I will most likely just call weller.
