That really depends on your heart and mind. Do you have to go in? If you really object to strip clubs, You really have to ask yourself what is most important to you, your buddy or your faith.

I am a Christian too, and this whole topic is a sticky wicket. It is hard to speak your feelings without sounding like my faith is hollow (which it is not).
I am not a fundamentalist, if I was I could never drink, have wild exotic sex, look at men with admiration, give birth without sacrificing turtle doves, all of which I believe are okay in moderation. Okay, I don't believe in the turtle dove thing. :tonka:

I consider strip clubs a form of entertainment and employment.

Your beliefs are yours.

i took my brother to a strip club for his bachelor party, i guess then i didn't think about it much. thats where he wanted to go... so, being the best man, i took him there. well, i was talking with a guy at work a while ago about this and he gave me the enth degree. he said that i wasn't being a friend, i was leading him to sin, by taking him where he asked.

I see nothing wrong with Strip clubs. Just don't wear your Sunday Best because you'll never get the smell out.

Technically you would be leading him to sin by being his DD. Drinking to drunkeness is just as sinful as going to watch strippers. It seems you are choosing what sins to feel guilty over. Worse yet, you are feeling guilty over someone else's sins....are you Catholic? I'm pretty sure we have the corner on guilt.

I think it should be:

Have a good life in Heaven, or be burned and tortured in Hell.

This is your call. You know God will forgive you but, dont try and take advantage of his forgiveness by doing bad things and believing that just because you pray means you will go to Heaven.

there isn't much in life that i feel guilty about. i have no problem making sure my friends are safe, can't feel guilt about that. i am just wondering where to cross the line in the preverbial sand. being a good christian is not something that comes easy. you can't just say "hey, it feels right to me.'', and call it good. somewhere in the bible it says something about you helping someone sin and wearing a rock around your neck for it, or something like that. so does that mean i turn my back on my friends?

How are you turning your back on your friends by not going to a strip club?
You should tell them that you dont feel comfortable about it and he should be able to say thats ok, and respect your faith.
