Default 1998 Banshee

1998 Yamaha Banshee. First owner used it to ride around on the farm every now and again. Second owner (a friend) purchased it after it sat in his barn for 5 years - he installed new HD clutch, K&N pod filters, and replaced the tires which all needed to be done from sitting so long. He took it on 2 trail rides to the UP last year - that's it. He's a big snowmobile guy, bought a new sled over the winter and sold me the 'shee.

Right side rod started to go so I rebuilt the motor. The cylinder walls looked perfect yet, and they're still on their stock bore. No kidding, this quad doesn't have many hours on it. I've seen 02's already bored 0.050" or more!

I rebuilt the motor with a 4mm stroker kit which takes the displacement to 370cc's. I also installed Boyessen reeds plus it has the Toomey T5 full exhaust system with bolt-on spark arrestor for those legal places. Tires are Maxxis Razr II rears ($80 each) and Razr fronts ($50 each) and have been replaced within the last year. Fenders are stock with no cranks. Seat cover is also in good shape - again low hours! I have less than 1 hour on the quad since the full rebuild, and only had it out 1 time last winter. I use my YFZ450 for most of my riding.

I'm moving now and would like the sell the quad so I can invest in some additional items for the house. Factor in what I paid for the quad, plus the cost of the full engine rebuild and I'm definitely loosing on this deal.

Asking $2,600 or best offer. May take a partial/full trade on Sea-Doo SPX or XP, 400ex for the wife, etc. Not looking for any other vehicles right now - we already own 3 and that's enough.
