Nice...

I was unfortunate enough to get a 1997 Montero LS as a college ride.....6 months later I blew out the head gasket. After letting it sit for a couple of years, I decided to bring it back to life. Now it sits on 33" with a 2" lift in the rear and the T-Bars cranked up in the front. That is the product of being bored and a why not attitude!

The sports like you have are a little different and look more the part! Either way Monteros are built pretty well for being jap crap! Fully boxed frame, Air lockers (Option).....??

I will enjoy watching this....

Had to move garages over the summer, took on two jobs to pay for my tuition (now
working 2 jobs and taking classes), and my budget took a huge hurting paying for some
huge unexpected expenses. Life has gotten in the way as much as it possibly can but
I've got it sitting on some temporary 34's and im working on getting the cross member
for the NP231 tcase, the lower links and the spring perches on. Sadly I only work on it
one day a week at most, that's all my schedule permits.

Fronts are just sitting there, wheels are getting machined to accommodate the hub size

new front bumper design

Once I get the suspension and drivetrain sorted i'll work on getting the flares back on,
they should keep things under wraps.

Mitsubishi eh? Very cool. This is definitely a build I'll be following. Way to break the mold.

I cant tell witch I dig more, the fact that your are building a lima bean, or the awesome photography. Either way cant wait to see how this turns out, and if it sucks, atleast the pictures of it will look good haha.
