what happened? did he miss the shoulder in the rain?
I have fished some out like that down here. one guy had the truck in the ditch with a whole deck full of steel coils...he thought he was still on the shoulder. looked as bad as that.

looks like you got it out without tearing it in half.

construction area , narrow temp lane , lots of rain . 1 tire off into that soft ground and its a hell of a ride from there . If your not sure them are cat tails all around me in the photo , where theres cat tails theres lots of mud .

10:30 Nut boy went out , 11:00 called for recruits . 2 medium duties to hold the trailer from going over or bending . 2 HD my 35 ton challenger and another 25 ton unit to suck it out of the swamp GVW 78,000 . Finished the pull at 3:00 or so then wrapped up for home.

At 5:30 AM I went back out with the 35 ton KW for another one 3 miles from the 1st 70,000 but it stayed out of the damn swamp this time 3 hours i was back home . 2:00 PM loaded cement truck went down on a construction site .

Last week 310 ' pull on a consumers 6x6 in the swamp . I ran Trial 17 in Canada and said thats it im done with T 17 . I swear iv been living it over and over the last 2 weeks but now im pulling 5/8 wire rope and 60 lb snatch blocks through the mud . The movie Ground hogs day comes to mind :gman:

Looks like you weren't the only one Marv. News just had a crew from today up in Arenac county on that stretch of 75 picking up a rolled over tractor/trailer. I couldn't make out the towing companies name but their rig was dark green color with yellow lettering. And on their boom it said Arenac Counties Finest.

Doesn't your big rig say Ogemaw Counties Finest on it?

yep thats sunrise side towing , we contracted them to assist with the swamp truck . When they were doing that roll over we were 3 miles north pulling out the other one from the camera pic . That section of 75 was eating semis alive last night

Like all jobs it has its good points and bad , ya we get to see some cool shit and figure out how to resolve there screw ups . Down side is some of the things we see you dont want to see .

When we work we work hard , on the bright side we do get a lot of screw off time for building bumpers , TT course and so on . Like any job it has its up and downs .

We post up some of the better screw ups . Maybe 1 in 15 or 20 are pretty cool the others are just snag and drag and not worth mention .

Ya I should've mentioned that part............I couldn't deal with that part of your job. Same for BDR's job. I don't want to see tragedy to a human, a vehicle is one thing, humans different story.

I was heading from Bath to Perry....didn't feel like any back roads. I was in a hurry. From Perry I was able to escape it into Owosso/Corunna....then off to Durand. From Durand I took back roads back to Saginaw.

for those of us not living in that area, from bath to perry sounds more like a nightly cleansing ritual before bed.

Hey GM, what kind of stuff have you been offered to pull someone out, or keep you mouth shut about what happened. I got to think you have some pretty interesting stories.
