So I'm not going to think your an idiot like the three above me and ask how did he do the swap? Was it a totaled ram or SD with say a shitty 6.0L that got swapped out?

Regardless that is sweet!!!

i'm pretty sure you're half right. it was a super duty with a cummins swap. :miff:

i don't know any details about the truck. i liked that he had a "Triton V8" badge on the fender still, haha.

i'd imagine it's a 12v cummins, i know that's a fairly common swap... not sure how easy, but i've seen them before. oddly enough i think they can get more power out of the 12v..

it being a cummins would explain the whole Single Stack thing but, i dont understand why people mix and match brands if its a ford keep it a ford if its a dodge keep it a dodge.

x2 Ken.

You aint gonna get a stroker to smoke like that. it's a 12V swap.

You can get Cummins in the F450's it's a pretty common package in medium duty tow trucks. They wanna get it done, not sit around with popped head gaskets.

pssst

"Ford Super Duty" made by Ford Motor Company. "Power Stroke Diesel" made by Navistar.

"Dodge Ram" made by Daimler-Chrysler. "Cummins Diesel" made by Cummins Engine.

They're already mixing brands - unless you buy a Chevy/GMC with a GM/Isuzu Duramax.

I don't believe you can get a Cummin's in a F450...only in a F650/750, but its not the same Cummins in dodge trucks. Its a big Cummins from semis. You can also get a Cat diesel in the big fords....or the small PS.

I know the older f600-800 came with the 5.9 cummins (same as the dodge). Even sweetier is that you could get a allison trans
