We had a fox in the yard last weekend when we woke up Sunday morning. I saw a turkey and about 12-15 chicks Wednesday night.

i was driving north to work on 131 and almost hit a momma duck and 5 baby ducks, as i drove by i yelled something like "BABIE DUCKIES NOOOO!!!"

the guy in the saturn behind me swerved and almost went off the road.

i think i would have felt bad for killing babie ducks

I was running through Dauner Park here in Fenton on Sunday morning. Probably running about an 11 minute mile down the narrow trail when I heard a loud crash then a large doe blazed across the trail about 10 feet ahead of me.

My sons and I saw a snapper in the Fenton Millpond while fishing earlier this week. We also saw a huge snapper in lobdell on Wednesday while fishing.

I saw a 3' alligator and a couple of 12" turtles in the swamp on the side of the road today coming back from Home Depot.

I'm in New Orleans.

2 tiny spotted fawns on Thursday. 2 little raccoons this a.m. and billions of frogs in our creek.

Then there are the rabbits. They've eaten half of our garden already and they won't stop procreating. I think the hawks are tired of rabbit, too.

Want some?

I have room for them. the feral cats around here have desamated my bunnys over the years. my neighbor tells me they used roam my place before I built by the hundred. I see a couple now and again, but nothing like the old days.

We saw a doe and two fawns playing in the back yard. The fawns still have their spots.

Also had another deer cutting across mid-day going from one wooded area to the other, which was odd because we usually either see them in the morning or at dusk.

It'll be a deer highway once the raspberry bushes start having fruit for them. We've seen 6-7 deer at once out there eating and running around.

I see loads of folks are getting they're fill of critters. I have to keep the boys off the quads in June due to little things like this popping up from time to time.

this one was 3 years back, it was born right in the front field. the mother let it hang out there in the shade of 3-4 days.

right now I have a dead baby deer out back, it dipped down to 40* a couple days and I think it died of hyperthermia. the Turkey Vultures are making short work of it.
I only have one ground left who lives under the shed nextdoor. I shot 13 the first year here. and filled in 35 sets of holes.

the one thing I can't control is the Blue Heron stripping out the fish in my pond, they all need to die.
