Default do I have to have fenders on my trailer?

Just checking. Im building a trailer for my quad and have stripped everything down. now i have brand new rims/tires, a frame, and axles.

Im in the process of planning out exactly how I want to do everything, and Im unsure what the legality is regarding fenders.

thanks

(BTW, its 5ft wide and 7ft. long..if that matters)

Default fenders

Last time I had checked you need some sort of fender over the exposed tire. On vehicles your tires cant extened more then 3'' past the last point of the fender (MI) laws

Yes, you have to have fenders...unless your tires are under your deck.

Sometimes....I made my own out of 1/8 plate but the local TS and welding shops had them in stock.
