Default Lost key. How to replace?

Yep, lost the key to the heep. Can I take my title and ID to the dealership and have them cut a new one?

they make a universal key for them, all you need is a hammer and regular screwdriver:tonka:
back the the ? depending on the year you should be able to get one from the dealer

Call the dealer and ask them if the title or registration is enough to cut a new key!

think it'd take more than just handing them a number...

why not just call the dealership and get the official answer?

You must provide Current Registration and Photo ID (Driver's License) to the dealer. They have to photo copy them an keep them on file as proof when the Part/Service manager requests the cut code. Just hope that the tumbler has never been replaced.

Oh yeah! YOU SHOULD GET TWO

At the GM dealer I worked for you needed registration to get key made. Plus proof you are you.

I would assume that mpwal099 would have the hindsight to provide more information of proof of ownership.
