Default Under Seat Power Connection?

My jeep has a power connection under the driver seat. Is this standard? Is it 12v? I want to hook my base for a cb I got to it but want to make sure its 12v before I do it.

Thanks.

It's for the seat belt reminder. It is 12v as are all the wires on your jeep. Not sure if you tap into it if the seat belt reminder will still work right.

I wouldn't tap off a belt minder. The circuits are usually designed to allow only a small current draw. Generally, there's a resistor inline, around 1-2.2kohm. Not where you want to tap.

Why not just tap off the lighter or power outlet wires.. not hard to get at.

not sure if this is the right wire. This one comes up out of the carpet and has an open female plug on the end of it. Looks like it may be aftermarket but not sure. but if it is the seatbelt one, would my seatbelt warning not work if its unplugged... im pretty sure the seatbelt light works...
