Default The Latest Creation from MuddyPaws Off-Road

Now, don't give me crap about the tires or whatever. This was built to the customer's spec exactly how he wanted it. It's purpose built.

It started life as a good condition M-416 Trailer...

And we lifted it 8 inches, added rollers, tortion axles, skid plates, and a pull point in the rear. The other work was done previous to us getting it.

30 inches of ground clearance in the center...20 inches under the axles.

It sits higher than the roof of a Sable station wagon.

You didn't even look at the welds you retard.

I'll remember that when it comes time for the Dakota lift.

Well, it had leaf springs and 31x9.5's or something like that....so we hacked all that off and built 8 inch risers for the torsion axles and put 35x13.5 t-birds on it.

I would have to say it has close to 8 inches of lift. The hitch sits at about 30 inches tall.

I added 2x2 hitch stock all the way through the trailer from the front to the rear and then welded in the 2 inch receiver in the rear for use as a winch/tow point. There is not really any force applied to the rear cross member by pulling on the rear because of the way the 2x2 1/4 wall goes all the way to the front.

Bottom of the trailer was plated with 3/16 plate, and the axle risers are plated with it also to make it slide over rocks.

Rear has 400 pound rollers to keep the corners off the rocks.

Lid was made by a guy down in Indian River...Vic...he's not on here. I was gonna add a air powered ram to lift the lid but the Jeep doesn't have OBA.

No, a guy named T-Way. He isn't on here. He's with the Trolls 4 Wheelers.

<edit> Actually....I think that's what his license plate says.
