Default 1992 Nite XLT 5.8L Bronco for sale

Hi all. DSM referred me to this site. Too bad I didn't know about it before I decided to sell my truck.

Up for sale is my 1992 Nite XLT Bronco. I purchased this vehicle in April 2003 with 123,424 miles. Currently, the rig has about 153,6XX miles. This is my winter and towing vehicle. As you can see, I have not put many miles on it the time that I have owned it. I no longer have a need for this vehicle as I am returning to my car and my fiancee has a truck. The vehicle is located in Carbondale, Illinois at an asking price of $3250 or best offer. Additional pictures are available upon request.

This vehicle passed emissions successfully before Illinois decided to not test pre-1996 vehicles in 2005. All emissions components are intact and working properly. It does not leak or burn any fluids.

Also included in the sale is my Haynes manual for Ford Pick-ups & Bronco, 1980 thru 1996, 2WD & 4WD. Additionally, the original factory user manual, warranty information, etc in the leather pocket is included.

Here is a video of the exhaust

Title in hand.

Standard features:
- 5.8L engine
- E4OD automatic transmission
- Cruise control
- Grey leather interior with power lumbar on front seats
- Manual locks
- Manual windows
- Towing package including tow hitch, light connector, dual front shocks and external transmission cooler
- Fully functioning push button 4x4
- Front license plate bracket is included, just not currently mounted

Modifications:
- Valet model 561r remote starter
- Hitch-mounted reverse lights with illuminated three-position dash switch (auto, off, on)
- 31" tires
- K&N FIPK
- 130A alternator
- Magnaflow Race Bullet muffler with new catalytic converter and tailpipe
- Sony Xplod CDX-M800 receiver with remote & Monster iPod/MP3 connector, directing a Alpine MRV-F450 5/4/3 channel amplifier that powers a total of four Rockford Fosgate door & rear speakers as well as a Kicker CVR 10" subwoofer
- Hardwired Cobra radar detector
- Spare tire relocated to interior
- Internals of tailgate revamped, including new weatherstripping, window guides, motor and rods lubed & adjusted

Service:
- Transmission flushed & filled at 146,918 miles
- Oil changed every 3,000 miles
- New front calipers, pads and brake lines at about 151,000 miles
- Fuel tank at 105,000 miles
- Driveshaft U-joints at 134,338 miles
- New factory Ford fuel pump and strainer at about 135,000 miles
- Plugs, coil and wires at 145,000 miles
- IAC and water pump replacement at 150,000 miles
- New windshield wiper motor at 151,000 miles
- Just waxed yesterday (06/09/07)

Points of note:
- This vehicle has the usual Bronco rust. It is not excessive but noticeable.
- The A/C compressor does not work. It was like this when I bought it and the vent windows were always enough air conditioning for me.

The photos below were taken earlier this year and are pre-wax. Just thought some would like to see how good it looks topless. The seal is in perfect shape and there are no drips whatsoever from the rain. Every time the top was removed, it was placed on 2x4s to protect the top seal. All interior trim pieces are intact and installed at this time. Thanks for looking.

It was a 1991 to 1992 factory style. All blacked out trim including the grill, bumpers and tailgate. Included the Nite stripe, emblem, spare tire cover, floormats and dash piece. It was not a dealer installed mark-up ploy. They were similiar to the Sport package in 1996 where you could get all white, red or black.

Here is some more information.

Thanks for looking.

I realize this isn't meant as a gas mileage vehicle, but whats the average MPG city/freeway?

In town, about 12 MPG. On the highway doing 75, it gets about 14.5 MPG.

Looks like I'm not gonna be able to get this right now. If it's still for sale in a few months, I may be able to do something, but money is too tight right now.

I appreciate you getting back to me. There has been some local interest but so far, nothing concrete. So goes the selling cycle...

Yeah, I meant to post yesterday, but I haven't been online as much recently (because I've been working longer hours now that school is out), and didn't think of it when I was on last night. Like I said though, if it's still for sale in a few months, I should be in a better position money wise, and possibly location wise (possibility of moving to Tennessee). Saw a Nite edition Bronco driving around up here in Taylor the other day, made me want this one all that much more.
