Default Tonights Lesson: If you accidentally start your truck while in gear....

.... and its strapped to the trailer...

... and its in 110:1 low range with the hubs locked....

...It'll do a sweet slow-motion 4 wheel burnout on the trailer.

At least until it hooked a strap and wound itself up

Buddy of mine had just put a new motor in his 5sp mustang and had disconnected the nss. Started it in first from outside the car and watched it take out the back wall of his dads garage.

Yeah, I ran myself over with my CJ5, which drove through half my garage before it stalled.

I was trying to hit the On position and went one click too far.

Yeah, sounded like a pack of angry sea lions.

I finished loading it, and was debating taking off the doors, I wanted to see if the door-ajar buzzer would go off when in the run position, the way it does in the off position. I went 1 step too far.

Thats how I did it the first time with my CJ-5. It sat for 1.5 years with no driveshafts, so if I was working on the motor, I could reach in and start it.

One day I forgot that I had just put in the driveshafts...... well, there's a swamper track 3 ft up my garage wall now..
