T-way was our trail leader at Gitchee Gumee on the Trestle trail. He had the trailer then. He only had a cooler and some lawn chairs in it. (Maybe an elephant gun, too. But I didn't look that close)

Actually, the lid was not built by Vic. It was built by Ironman. I think Pat also did the fenders but not sure. Would have to ask him. Vic did all of the wiring installing the LED lights and the paint.

I don't believe Pat built the fenders...just the lid...which was installed by Vic. I remember helping Pat load the lid on his flatbed to deliever it to Tway.....damn thing is heavy.

I thought the fenders were stockers? I know we were talking about buying another set of fenders and welding them together to make them cover the wheels....but then he didn't want to do it. That's what makes me think they were stock...but T-Way could be wrong.

Looks like his trail ride is off this weekend too. He blew the rear driveshaft coming up here to get the trailer. Not like totally blown but bad enough to make him go 45 all the way home. Centering ball on the CV was shot when he got here.

Yea it's heavy....we fixed the latches and stuff. We tried to get some lift arms that would hold it up but nothing I had was strong enough. I had sets from mini vans, cameros, wagons, SUV's....nothing was heavy enough to hold the dam thing up.

I was SOOOOOOOOOOO close to drilling a hole and installing one of those BBQ temp gauges in the side of that thing.....just for shits.

I'm going to re-paint the lid this summer and find a way to prop the damn thing up and when I have it for that, I WILL install the temp gauge in it.
