Talking Charity Jeep Run

A charity run in the Manistee National Forest. The run will start at Woody’s Bar and will return to Woody’s after about a 3 hour run. Your $5.00 per person donation will go to Hospice of Newaygo. Driver meeting at 10:00 a.m Run will start at 10:30 a.m. There will be a 50/50 raffle. Street legal vehicles only due to roads and trails. Note: There are trails around deep mud holes. Bring a walkie talkie if you have one to keep in touch with other vehicles.

When: Saturday June 9, 2007
Where: Woody’s Bar, 8765 Goldenrod, Bitely, MI 49309 (off 11 Mile)
Time: 10:00 a.m. Run starts at 10:30 a.m.
What: $5.00 / person donation to Hospice of Newaygo

They will have GPS maps for all drivers. Come out and support a great cause. Bring the family. This is sure to be a great scenic and adventurous ride.

Crap, that's the area I normally run. I have too many graduations/ family commitments this weekend. I'm out. And Woody's is in Woodland Park, not Bitely. Is it possible to get the gps map emailed to me? I'd like to see what trails I've missed up there, or let you in on some you may have missed.
