Default dana 44 axle shaft 16.75"s long anything cross?

i read the cheapthrills thread and it crosses with nothing but would that cross with a rubicon axle shaft or a bronco axle shaft or something?

anyone have measurment of the rubicon inner driver side axle shaft?

J truck is 16 5/8"

Edit: rubi is 16.625 also.

more i look at it my sahft is 16" 11/16 somewhere between 5/8" and 3/4" that shouldnt be a problem since its such a small difference right?

I have a pair of J-truck shafts in the barn. Shoot me a PM and I will try and remember to measure them... They are not for sale or anything, but they will help you on your quest.

Also last time I checked no one make wide track (J-truck) d44 aftermarket front shafts. Could have changed though.

when measuring axle shats i go from the end of the shaft to the center of the u-joint hole correct?

1973-1976 J-10 w/drum brakes (front)

1974-1976 J-20HD & J-20/30 Med duty

1975-1976 Cherokee Chief

Those should all be 16 5/8" inner shafts.

The last set of Alloy shafts I ordered for a Rubicon took 2.5 months to get! I could probably get you a Yukon shaft in a few days.
