Default Hellbilly Hot Rod - updates



Shooting for july... depends how fast I can come up with all the parts.
Plans:

Dana 60 front
Dana 70 rear
42" TSLs
H1 beadlocks
SOA w/ waggy front XJ rears
355 chevy ~400ish+ hp (Steel crank, dart heads, yada yada yada)
LP Fuel delivery
TH400 trans (killerB built)
Dana 300
hoopty driveshafts
custom cage/tube work

There's no drivetrain in it... hopefully the front drops a few inches... like 5...

Currently sitting on the stock springs



Sold the axles, motor and tires out of it so far.. bought the jeep with a blown up trans.

I'd post a current pic, but I don't feel like going back out to the garage.

I bought the jeep last thursday (day before mem day weekend)

If you mean full out with paint, yes, I am probably going to leave it just how it is.

I dont know what a sill gaurd is, but, if you say its cool then yes.

Can you buy them using your frequent buyer miles through quadratec for me?

so why did the TJ project get scraped for a YJ project?
Did your roommate give you some "unwanted pressure" and make you change to a square headlight set up? :tonka:

hey Hacksaw, with the chrome sill guards, I've got a stainless steel front bumper. it's for a CJ, but should still fit a YJ.

I scrapped the project cuz I couldn't find a grille for it.

I have a really cool light bar you can bolt to the windshield. I think it uses 3/4 or 1" bolts.

Nope, thoose got traded for thoose tires... they're now in KY or TN, not sure where the guy sold them.. I know we dropped the axles off in KY.. think the guy was from TN tho... The ones in it are DRW axles out of an 80's chev
