Actually there's a new product that eliminates the need to ever have to do a clean up. If you have an oil spill, you simply dump some of the stuff on the spill and the Peat-Sorb absorbs the hydrocarbons in the oil and naturally bio-degrades.
This is actually the stuff the rock crawling comp guys use to meet the environmental requirements of oil spill mitigation.
An added benefit of this stuff is that you NEVER have to pick it up and there is no need to line the bottom of the rocks with plastic.
The DNR is fully aware of this product as it's been demonstrated to them numerous times.
If I get enough interest in this stuff I can/will place an order with the supplier. It's around $20.00 for a 3 lb shaker container

wow... i think this is a great thing that you guys are tryin to do for the only local park around. alot of people dont like to fill there truck with mudd all the time and other do which is great. so some sort of rock crawling course will really be great around the area. we just got back from tellico and loved the rock crawling but it really hard to afford a trip like that often. i cant wait to see it come through...thanks Eric

How about naming it the "Karl Saulitis Memorial Rock Garden"?
