You beat me to it.

Comrade Clinton showing her true colors.

The advantage of this extended pre-election run up is that the candidates will all slip up and show their true colors at some point.

"Shared responsibility and prosperity"??????????????

So, what f-ing responsibility will the lazy, unmotivated people share with me?

"Yo yo yo, I tell you what, man - I take the responsibility of holdin yo couch down while you at work"

This kind of shit makes the tic in my face flare up...

This is not another Great Depression type era with unemployment reaching 30%, it's only 4.5% nationwide currently (7% here in Michigan).

What in the hell do we need wealth distribution for? If the govt wants to help, why not put money into things that are in the nation's interest such as funding to help private sector companies find solutions to things like emissions reductions (auto and industrial), battery technology, and similar things that they all talking head about, but provide no value towards.

Hmmm...

A dash of "It can't happen here" by Sinclair Lewis, A touch of "Atlas Shrugged" and a whole lot of reasons to vote Republican. Thanks for re-affirming my faith, Comrade Clinton!

If the don't run with this, they are absolutely retarded. You literally have a presidential candidate spewing communist thoughts, and NOT ONE media outlet that I have came across is airing these comments.

It's a little tough for something she said today to be in todays paper. Not that I expect it to be on tomorrows front page but many of the news web sites seem to be picking it up.

I do see this:

Quote:
In 1965, the average corporate chief executive earned 24 times as much as the average worker, she said. By 2005, it was 262 times as much. In the last six years, productivity has increased, but family incomes have gone down, she said, leading to rising inequality and pessimism in the work force.
as a problem for corporate America. As this disparity grow, so does worker dissent. Workers will be more likely to look to unions to help them get even, will be more likely to vote for politicians that promise to help them to get even, and will push for laws to close this gap. In general this disparity will push this country closer to socialism. It's a matter of control yourself, or get controlled.

She said this yesterday. For some reason, the AP time is wrong. If you look at the time they have, and it even says eastern standard, then they posted the article 8 hours after I linked to it.

Then why are unions shrinking? This isn't a new phenomena, it's been happening for the past 20 years.

because many of the union jobs were in industries that have either shrank or been heavily "off shored" over the past 20 years.

But why aren't we seeing union growth into new areas? if people are going to seek refuge in unions, then you would expect them to be moving into other areas.

This one is my personal favorite.....

"There is no greater force for economic growth than free markets. But markets work best with rules that promote our values, protect our workers and give all people a chance to succeed," she said.

Is a free market the greatest force or is a market restricted by rules the best, Hillary? Nice double speak.

Her war on individualism has never been more clear.

I am about halfway through reading Thomas Sowell's book Basic Economics. Everyone should read this book, it talks about just this type of socialist thinking and how dangerous it is to all of us.
