I couldn't quite remember where you lived. I know you told me when you stopped by my house to pick up the ramps. I'll keep an eye out for ya too.

Looks good for a $50 truck

2 things:

1. I don't like you now because you bought the $5 fender that I needed

2. Before I junked my comanche, I pulled the taillights (perfect) and all of the flares and brackets. Let me know if you need those things

that $5 fender worked good, I trimmed most of the dent out of it too!

I could use a spare set of tail lights, I have an idea to freshen them up a bit, just not sure I want to attempt it on my only set. How much you looking to get for them?

I have no need for the flares, I think I have 2 sets of front and rears, but the front don't fit anymore, theres no metal left to attach them.

because i didn't have a set of factory springs to use when I got it, and I got these Alcans for a pretty good price. Plus with the stroker motor, and SOA I'm sure there would have been a ton of axle wrap.

Got a little more work done on this. I picked up a bender a few months ago and have been slowly building additional cage pieces for it. The yellow is the D&C XJ Cage, stuff not yellow is stuff I have added.

Added door bars and a couple overhead bars to build an overhead console from

Seat belt bar

Not a bad notch for doing it by hand with a grinder, this is about how all of them look. Now only if my welds turned out just as good.

I also picked up a bed mounted toolbox at Lowes for a killer price

Bent up a b-hoop to match the contour of the cab

added some down bars

The rear portion is tied into my rock rails and rear wheel wells, both of which will get some tube for reinforcement over the holiday break.

Also built a track bar brace to help stiffen up the front end. Actually made a noticeable difference

I picked up a set of doors from a 99 XJ, along with the shifters and center console. I painted the doors this weekend, but I'll probably wait till the week after Christmas to install them. I did however get the console and newer shifters in

I'm going to try to dye the dash gray to make it match.

I spent a few hours in the garage with the FSM and figured out the wiring. You have to create a relay circuit that reverses polarity. I will sketch up what I did and post it later, but here is the wiring. I'll made it a nicer schematic later, but for now, here's the connections.

In order to get it to work properly, I had to cut the pink/black and orange/black wires on the passenger door that ran from the lock motor to the passenger switch. Its pin 1 and 5 in the large connector. If you don't cut these two wires, it will pop a fuse every time the door lock is tried.

And for the relay, here is the pin out, I'll make a diagram when I get time.

Any other wires in the doors were not used. The drivers door has extra wires for the rear door windows. And the passenger door has extra wires for the remote keyless entry (RKE) module that I did not use.

I found these mounting panels for ARB switches, so I will pick up a couple to build a panel for my ARB switch and my in cab winch control switches. The panels just snap together to make them as wide as you need.
