I always liked the two doors. My wife talked me into a four door when I got mine.:miff: Don't you have another one you are working on?

the 2-door XJ's are great except for the issue that they used the same door hindges as the 4-doors, and the hindges don't like to handle all that extra weight very well,
but other wise i personnally like them better because you can cut into them in the rear much easier since you don't have to worry about that rear door

h8pvmnt - hope, its the only one that I have, its got your old coils in it now.

I haven't had any problems with the doors after 15 years, so I'm not too worried about the hinges failing.

Figured I'd bump this since I have done a few more things to it.

I've added a stroker, cowl hood and a-pillar lights...

I had an extra hood laying around so I made this one. There was no way I would spend $400 on a hood, this one cost me about $15 in welding wire, bondo and paint.

I like it, it took a while to break in and get the fuel pressure set right, but it runs great now. I did 850 miles round trip to the Badlands and got an average of 18mpg doing and average of 68MPH. Even going down the highway there is plenty of passing power without needing it to downshift and offroad the extra 60 pounds of low end torque really make a difference.
