Default So, I just hit some guy in the face...

I was just downtown with my GF, walking to my car when this drunken idiot comes out of nowhere asking me for money. I told him to get the fukc away from me, he didn't. I told him again, to get the fukc away from me. Then he pushed me mumbling some drunken jibberish so I hit him in the side of the face. About this time a police officer comes running over and handcuffs the other guy, asks me to stay there for a few minutes while he puts the other guy in the back of his car. When he came back he asked if we were ok, and I told him yes, just a bit frightened. He explained that he deals with the other guy fairly regularly, and that he saw the whole thing happen. He didn't even take me name, just told me to have a good night.
Damn. Now I need a beer, and my hand hurts.
Of course this happens when Im not carrying my gun, or my pepper spray.

If you would have done it right, he would have left in an ambulance, not a cop car.

Thanks ass.
That was the first time I have ever hit someone not joking around. I took him off his feet, so I dont think I did too bad.

I wish you would have had your gun.... then the cop would have saw you shoot him and taken you in for murder.

Maybe you should count your blessings you didnt have those things.

By the way, if you lose your temper that easily you should not carry them to begin with... people like you give people that 'have' to carry a weopon for whatever reason a bad name.

Im very cool and level headed. I deal with hairy situations because of my job on a daily basis. I would never EVER level a firearm unless my life was in danger.

Let me guess Bio, some drunken asshole pushes you on the street, you just turn the other cheek and ask if you can drive him home right?

well, I don't have much of a temper at all but I would classify someone pushing and asking for money as a mugging, take it as you wish, he had a ligament concern, just because a guy is drunk wont make him a pussy, could make him violent.

x2

at that point, you have no idea to what extent someone will continue to try and get money

better safe than sorry...not saying pulling a gun would be right in that situation, but if it escalated and the cop wasnt around, then what? if the drunk pulled a knife or something...

Thank you!
I did not mean that because some ass pushed me that I should have shot him, but had the cop not been there, it could have gotten a lot worse, really fast. Some of these crackheads downtown Kzoo are some scary mofos.

x547890 the dirty monkeys down there in the zoo have given a simple country boy like me a scare or two. the reason we have the right to bear arms is to protect our life and liberty. when momma said to always carry protection, she didnt mean just a condom.
