22# of wire and one tank of gas, the frame and nerf bars fully welded with gussets on all the mounting points and fish plates over the joints in the rails. The storm knocked the power out before I got to the cage.

Bolted the cage back on to finish welding it.

Put gussets in all the tube joints and bolted a piece of 1/4" aluminum plate in the top to hang the CB and such from.

Chassis has now been sandblasted, coated with self etching primer inside and out, and painted gloss black.

Welded the caps on the rear of the frame rails after the paint inside dried. Did it this way because I was concerned the paint would not cure properly without some air circulation.

Ok time for an update.

Reshaped the tunnel and made a removable aluminum cover to lower it 2". This makes for better shifter boot fit.

Opened up the notch in the firewall to fit the motor and fabed another aluminum cover.

Put new frictions and seals in the tranny along with a reverse pattern manual valve body. It already had the wide ratio platetaries and torrington bearings. The 205 was overhauled and twinsticked just before I retired the big Bronco.

Rear end is in with the 456's and detriot from the big Bronco. Waiting for the big brown truck to bring my rear disc brackets before I install the axles. I was going to use the rear disc setup off the 77 lincoln, but the distance between the housing and the axle flange is off by 1/4" and the inner pads would fall out when they are about half worn out.

My helper has gotten a lot of experience with a wire brush, scotch brite pad and a rattle can.

The motor got a new set of bearings, water pump and a rattle can overhaul. Also have a truck avenger carb I'm going to try out.

Been thinking about scrapping the on board air compressor and putting a weldernator in it's place. I've got an ultimate air set up for my tires now.
