Got the rock sliders (a.k.a. step so the wife can get in) fabed up today. I used 1.75 x .120 wall tube, not sure how tuff they will be but they are bolt on so when they get bent I'll build stronger ones.

Here's a couple shots of the mounting and bracing of the sliders. The rear has good triangulation and should be able to take alot of abuse.

The front is also triangulated but not quite as strong as the rear due to the compound angle of the brace bar.

Built inserts out of 1/2" plate to go inside the frame end. That way I can just drill and tap to mount the bumper.

Finished the tube work for the cage, need to add seat belt tabs, gussetts, and finish welding. The custom dash is now hung from the cage.

Also got the rear bump stop mounts in.

Tore it down to finish up the fab on the stuff I couldn't reach with the drivetrain in the way.

Side mount for the 205.

Finished the trans cross member and put sleeves through the frame for the bolts.

Sure doesn't look like 160' of tube, but what's left of 8 sticks will fit in a 5 gal bucket.
