Default Ring & Pinion

Anybody on here from, or know anyone from Ring and Pinion shop over on the eastside? I have a gift certificate to use there, and am looking at an Aussie Locker. I called them up and they say they have never heard of it. I gave them the vendor website, phone #, etc and they said they would check into it.

Anyone have experience with this place?

eric, give them the weblink:

http://www.offroadlockers.com/

maybe order the parts online and then use the gift cert to have R&P install it.

The order online, then have R&P install is a possibility, but I am sure they charge an arm and a leg for install if I bring the whole vehicle in, unless i remove the axle and take it in that way. If I have to take the axle out to bring to them, since the aussie is close to a drop-in install (no gear reset, etc), might as well just do it my self.

P.S. I know there are several good shops around that would have this for me, but the gift certifcate from R&P would make it almost free for me.....

I don't think it would matter much if you brought an axle in or the vehicle. If you brought the vehicle in they'd just put it on a hoist and do the install. with the axle separate its just a bench install.
