Sounds like the 6.0L

Buy a Cummins next time

Clean out your cab by the way... Your shit tends to get tossed about when they lift it off the frame.

Check out the Diesel Stop forums to learn more about the fun you're going to continue having.

yea pretty much the 6.0 is one of the crappiest diesels ever made.

I'd take a *gasp* chevy 6.2 over a 6.0. If you aren't bustin heads in a 6.0... you prolly aren't driving it. Better pray you dont have a box/chip in it.

yeah I wanted the cummins, I just didnt want the rest of the truck. After my last Dodge 2004 it didnt leave a good taste in my mouth. I have been on some of the other forums and read what others have said.

I dont know if I would take a 6.2 over a 6.0 but International deffinatly has some issues with the 6.0L. I dont have a box/chip in it either.

you're lucky - I've heard of people with chips/boxes that have been told by ford for almost anything related to warranty work - i've heard some places are so bad they wouldn't do warranty if they had an intake on them

yeah there is no denying that the 6.0L has some issues, but the only other option for me is to get the Duramax. And frankly I think all of the siverados are ugly, and I wont own another Dodge.

Have you gotten your truck fixed. I bet they don't replace your engine. If you are getting antifreeze out of your coolant tank then it is most likely the EGR valve or egr cooler. That is usually the most common problem when it comes to this syptom.

Another website to check out is www.powerstroke.org it is a forum website dedicated to powerstrokes. There is some good techs there that can help you out. But what are you worried about if you don't have over 100,000 on the od then your under warranty so no cost out of your pocket.

By the way I am a member of the above mentioned website. I have the same screenname there as I do here.

Bet you my 7.3L will whoop your 6.0L's rear.

The 6.0L may come with more hp and torq but with some money you can get more hp and torq out of the 7.3L and the 7.3L will last longer too.

looks like were not going to race for a while, this POS 6.0L hot put back together and now they say the heads are bad after they put the whole truck back together. I swear I heard about all the issues these trucks had but I thought they had them worked out in the 05+ trucks, guess not. Last f o r d I will own the way this is headed.
